An endpoint is degraded when more than 5% of requests in the last 15 minutes failed with a server error, or when fewer than 50% of requests returned results. It is down past 50% server errors. These are the same thresholds that page us.
Availability counts every request that did not fail with a server error. Answer rate counts requests that returned results, after any retries; a request Google answered with nothing is available but not answered. Latency is measured at our edge over the last 24 hours. Machine-readable at /status.json.
